How do I get Firefox to collapse my bookmark folders automatically?
Q. Before I reformatted my computer, I had downloaded an extension or something that told Firefox to automatically collapse my bookmark folders whenever I clicked on a new link (similar to what IE does). Now I don't remember what it's called or where to find it.

A. Here is an alternative. Look at ActiveWords. You can create shortcut "words" that load any website. You ten hit the ActiveWords keystroke and type your word to get the action you need. For example "ya" gets me to Yahoo Answers.The software is much more robust than just this (text substituion, complex sequence of steps, open files, run programs...).

A. Firefox gets these icons from the website icons. You put the icon on your website and it will appear in the URL field of your browser. A. I agree with you. I never dog-ears pages in a book. And I hate it when a friend borrows my book and I get it back with half of its pages folded. I have many bookmarks that I've got from all sorts of places:- I bought one from Istanbul that has a silhoutte of the Maiden's Tower. It represents my love for my country's culture- I bought one from the NGV when they were having a Picasso exhibition. The bookmark was magnetic with the weeping woman on it. Represents my love for Picasso's art.- A friend gave me a book for my birthday with a bookmark in it with a picture of green bamboo in it. Represents my favourite colour, green.:)

How do i change the website address on an already set bookmark on myyahoo?

Where can I find a company that'll make a VERY special custom bookmark out stainless steel & leather for me?

A. A similar thing happened to my dad. Only thing - HE was the schnook who put the cheque in the book in the first place! Luckily, he called up the National Library's office and after a long list of calls, the cheque was found uncashed and unclaimed. Apparently, nobody else had borrowed the book after him, but it was in transit (going from one library to the next and then back to the shelf) so we had to wait two agonizing days before we could pick it up again.Nobody had wanted to borrow to book. It was called 'An In-Depth History of China'. In my brief stint as a librarian, I've seen some pretty strange things used as bookmarks.
